This presentation will outline how to take advantage of scheduling conflicts to activate or rekindle your students’ motivation in a unique and enjoyable way. During this presentation, you will learn to crowd-source travel plans as a language learning activity. You will see the results of a one-day tour of Paris, planned by language-learning students. You will also receive tips on how to easily create video travelogues to share in class using an iPhone.

This presentation will discuss an iPad solution to a video processing problem. Whereas as in years past video processing time was measured in days, or weeks, putting iPads in student hands reduced that to less than an hour. Students captured, processed, and uploaded videos to Moodle on their own. Come listen and find out how.
